Los Angeles, CA

You can probably tell by now that I love trying new restaurants. While my friends and I were in L.A., we decided to try a rooftop lounge and restaurant called Perch. I can definitely say that we were not disappointed.

We had to take two elevators to get to the actual restaurant. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and we decided to sit out on the patio.

This restaurant is French-themed, as well as, the food and drinks. For my drink, I had the Midnight in Paris which includes a smooth cognac, vodka, creme de peche, lemon, and orange. Mind you this drink is strong, but all in the right ways.

When it was time to order, I decided to try the Boeuf Bordelaise. It included a delicious and oh so tender short rib, roast garlic potato puree, beets, cippolini, and pearl onions. There was also the option of adding crab on top of the short rib and I am so glad I did. It paired perfectly.

The waiters were exceptional and so were the other staff. Once we finished eating, we headed upstairs to the rooftop which was more of a lounge area where you could order drinks and look out at the beautiful city.

It was definitely a fun experience with great food and drinks, so if you ever find yourself in L.A., make sure you stop by.
