How I Spent My Saturday

My friend and I celebrated Valentine’s Day late. We are both single and over a chit-chat last week, we decided to celebrate being single. I mean, why should Valentine’s Day only be for couples. We both have demanding schedules, so we pushed our Valentine’s celebration to Saturday.

The day started off with some wine tasting and ended with a cocktail at Prato on Park Avenue.

Quantum Leap Winery

This is a small winery located in Orlando. It is cozy and has a very welcoming vibe. The best part about this winery are the prices. My wine flight was a total of $6 and I got to try three different wines. The tour of the winery was complimentary and informative. I learned about the fermentation process of their wine and how their wine is bottled. It was a very interesting tour.

My favorite wine was the Dog Watch Dessert Wine. It was so sweet and delicious and a bottle costs $18.

Pig Floyd’s

After having our fair share of wine, we decided to head over to Pig Floyd’s for lunch. Who knew wine could make you so hungry. I had the Mongolian Brisket Bento Box and my friend had the Pork Bento Box. I always order the same thing and it has been amazing every single time.

After lunch, we decided to head to Park Avenue (our last stop) and walk around. Park Avenue has a bunch of shops and restaurants. We went to a few of the shops then grabbed our last drink at Prato. Prato is this cool bar with unique drinks and food. I decided to try the Centriolo 11. It is a cucumber infused cocktail. It was delicious and very refreshing.

It was a great “Valentine’s Day.” Definitely one for the books.
