A Clean Juice a Day

There’s no better way to start the new year off then with a nice body detox. My go to for any body detox is green juice. Whether you are making them yourselves or purchasing some at your local juice spot or grocery store, green juices are a great source for jump starting any health journey.

Green juices help to hydrate your body and put back all the healthy vitamins and nutrients that we tend to deprive ourselves of every day. If you are on the run and don’t have time to make breakfast, you can grab this refreshing drink and use it as a substitute for your meal. You can also personalize it to your liking.

It’s amazing that one drink can aid in removing the toxins from your body and can also help boost your immune system. Green juices contain amino acids that can help aid in weight loss and who doesn’t want to shed a few pounds from their Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.

Main things I put in my green juice:

Spinach, Celery, Kale, Ginger, Lemon

Other additions:

Green apples, pineapple, Swiss chard

There are so many sites out there with so many tasty recipes. Many sites recommend drinking a green juice everyday. Some of the long term results I read about included lessening of dark circles around the eyes and glowing radiant skin. Now I don’t know about you, but this is a habit I want to keep throughout the year.
