December Favorite: Jo Malone

After Christmas shopping is always fun because there are usually some great sales on some of my favorite products.

Since I am spending my holiday break in Los Angeles, CA, I decided to visit Westfield Century City. It’s such a beautiful mall and there are a lot of great shops.

While there, I came across Jo Malone. It’s a cute shop/boutique that houses various colognes, lotions, and candles.

As soon as you walk in, you’re welcomed with the smell of many different and pleasing scents. All the scents are unique and all natural.

The employees there did a great job of explaining the different perfumes and how they can be used together. They explained how any of the scents can be used to create a more personalized scent.

All I had to do is explain what kind of scent I liked and they offered many options that fit my description. After smelling a few scents, I settled on the Wood Sage and Sea Salt cologne. It includes ambrette seeds, sea salt, and sage. It’s a soft and fresh scent and it smells oh so good. I’m smelling my wrist as we speak.

I got the smaller (but not really small) bottle for $68, but I know it’s going to last me for a while.

The packaging is beautiful and my purchase came with two sample lotions, and two sample colognes that the employees suggested go well with the cologne I bought.

While this is not an everyday purchase, I can definitely say it is my new favorite cologne place and I will be going back for another bottle once I’m done with this one.
