Why I Started Blogging
Blogging is not what it used to be years ago. Back in the day, you could start a blog and have a greater chance of being more successful at it because social media wasn’t as prevalent as it is now. Today, social media is its own avenue. You can get paid just to upload a specific type of post. Many people have used social media to create a career for themselves. As a result, blogging has become a more difficult niche to break into. Blogging is a competitive field and definitely not for the faint of heart.
So…Why did I start blogging?
For me, blogging is fun. It is exciting to have a space that’s mine where I can create and post what I want, and even tweak my site to match my personality and, or style. While some might be overwhelmed by it, I find it to be liberating. Blogging gets me excited for the next day and the new ideas that it brings.
I have always been a creative soul. I spend my time creating new things and developing new ideas. In fact, my mind is always running with new ideas. Unfortunately, my job does not require much creativity. Thankfully, I have an outlet to channel all my creative energy into.
Blogging is an amazing tool that can be used to inspire people, to create discussions, or to help through difficult situations. Blogging creates a community of people that can come together and openly share new ideas and opinions.
For these reasons, I will always be very thankful for such a thing as blogging.
